Amanda, Expert Skin Therapist, Senior Therapist and Salon Owner
Amanda is the wonderful and proud owner of Sibu Beauty! Amanda started working in a fast paced salon in the city which had greatly expanded her knowledge of the beauty therapy industry. She is an Expert Dermalogica Skin Therapist and has great knowledge of our other amazing range, Murad. While Amanda does most treatments, her skills are with skin and is constantly expanding her knowledge with further information. Amanda is currently studying a Bachelor in Health Science specialising in Dermal therapies. Amanda loves meeting new clients and loves a challenge with how to treat individual concerns and skin types. She believes facial treatments not only serve a purpose of treating the skin, but are also pampering and relaxing!
Linda, Senior Therapist & Skin expert
Linda is our long standing Crace therapist who has been with us for almost 7 years.
Becoming a qualified therapist all the way back in 2011 after 7 years as a dance teacher and being in the performing arts industry, she is 11 years in the beauty industry and her career has grown enormously. Linda spent some time as our Sibu Salon manager and recently taking a step back to attend to the demands of raising her 2 children. She likes the variety Sibu has to offer, but does have a love of skin treatments and is excited to be performing all the new and advanced treatments. She loves making clients feel good about themselves, helping them achieve their goals, getting to know them and what they like. She is always thriving for perfection!
Linda is working part time between both salons while she juggles work/mum life.
Zoe, Beauty Therapist
Zoe recently joined our Nicholls team, and commenced her Diploma of Beauty Therapy in February 2022 as a school based apprentice. She enjoys learning new things every day through.
Zoe’s passion for beauty started when she was younger, watching beauty treatments done by her role models helped influence her into starting her own beauty journey. In her free time,
Zoe likes to hang out with friends, shopping and play with her dogs.
Zoe’s favourite treatments include anything to do with lashes and brows, and has been loving increasing her skincare knowledge!
Amy, Beauty Therapist
Amy has been working in the beauty industry since 2021 as she completed her Diploma in Beauty Therapy. She joined our Nicholls team at in August of 2023.
Amy has a big passion for all things skin including facial treatments, skincare, waxing, massage as well as lash and brow treatments. Her favourite services include lash and brow treatments along with level 2 aging facials. She has a warm caring personality which is why Amy loves chatting with clients.
Amy loves to travel outdoors, going to the gym, shopping and spending quality time with friends and family. Her mother's hard work and love inspire her. Amy aspires to make a positive impact on people's lives.
Cassie, Beauty Therapist
At the age of 15, Cassie discovered her passion for beauty therapy through makeup. Her beauty journey officially began in 2020, where she found joy in waxing and nails, as well as slower treatments such as facials and massages. Cassie's go-to beauty treatment is a pedicures and LED facials.
Cassie considers completing her beauty diploma as her greatest achievement and is Inspired by her mother's dedication to learning.
Cassie's loves burritos, shopping, and her favourite person is her mom. Cassie leans towards being an introvert and has a soft spot for pets.She dreams of traveling and owning a beauty salon, and her absolute favorite place is the beach.
Lucy, Beauty Therapist
Lucy has joined the team at Crace, when she commenced her Diploma of Beauty Therapy in February 2022. Lucy has had a keen interest in beauty for a few years now, and is very excited to have finally started her training. During the past year of her training, Lucy has proven to be a natural in all things beauty. She has a flair for skin and loves being able to provide total relaxation for her clients as well as knowledge in transforming the skin.
She loves the feeling of confidence from quality treatments and is enjoying learning more so she can share this feeling with others.
In her spare time she loves being out and about, and spending time with friends and family.
Jacqui, Beauty Therapist
Jacqui's journey into beauty therapy began at 19 while working as a receptionist in a Darwin hotel salon. In 1990, she relocated to the Gold Coast to pursue her passion for beauty therapy. Presently, Jaqcui enjoys a variety of treatments, from procedures like waxing and nail care to facials and massages.
Jacqui draws inspiration from resilient individuals who face life's challenges with a positive attitude. Her three children are the center of her greatest achievements and happiest moments.
Jacqui loves in Italian cuisine, especially cannelloni, she also enjoys activities like camping, traveling with friends, and beach outings. She describes herself as a blend of introverted and extraverted qualities. Her ultimate goal is to overcome fears and uncertainties and return to practicing as a beauty therapist after an extended hiatus.
Salma, Apprentice Beauty Therapist
In her college days, Salma loved beauty services like facials and massages which ignited her interest in becoming a beauty therapist. Setting foot in the industry on May 3, 2024, marked the beginning of her professional journey.
Her admiration and inspiration stem from her grandmother, whose loving, caring, and spiritual nature has influenced her.
Securing an apprenticeship at Sibu Beauty remains her proudest achievement, while the birth of her nephew stands as her happiest moment. Salma loves tacos, boxing, true crime documentaries and her boyfriend. Salma thrives in social settingsand one day hopes open a spa catering to pregnant women while pursuing a career as a Registered Nurse.
Sasha, Tattoo removal specialist
Sasha is a born and bred Canberran, while most of his working life has been in the public service, he has also become a laser tattoo removal specialist back in 2017.
Sasha is passionate about tattoos as a collector of them himself and is still working on his own collection.
Sasha’s other passions include bonsai with a collection of 200 little trees in his yard. And his 2 little Dachshunds.
